Tianjin is North China's gateway port and one of its heaviest industrial bases. The Tianjin Port and Binhai New Area handle freight and logistics for the whole northern region, alongside automotive, equipment and heavy-industry manufacturing concentrated in the TEDA development area.

Can you cover both Tianjin and Beijing in one trip?
Easily. They're about half an hour apart by high-speed rail. I'll keep your port and factory business in Tianjin and your negotiation or conference work in Beijing on the same schedule.
Do you handle heavy-industry and automotive factory visits?
Yes. I'll walk the line with you in the TEDA and Binhai industrial zones, interpret the technical and QC detail, and flag where a supplier's claims need pressing.
What does a day of port and factory meetings cost?
The rates are published above: $80–$140 half-day, $99–$250 a full day across the port, the forwarders and the TEDA plants, $800–$1,250 a week. Travel between them is included, and the shipping terms and the spec both get written up the same evening.
Do the forwarders or factories pay you a cut?
No. My fee comes from you alone, so I can tell you when a freight rate is padded or a manufacturer is a trading company. An interpreter on a supplier's payroll has no reason to. See product sourcing.
Is it you on the job, and what if you're booked?
You get me for a normal Tianjin trip. For a large team I bring in vetted colleagues. If your dates are taken I'll tell you inside the same 12-hour window and recommend someone I trust.
